About
I'm a Ph.D. student in Applied Mathematics at Purdue University, advised by Prof. Rongjie Lai. I work on scientific machine learning: training neural networks that learn solution operators, so that one model solves a whole family of control and transport problems instead of one instance at a time.
Recently I've developed a self-supervised, in-context operator learner for stochastic mean-field control, and a neural operator that plans collision-free trajectories for swarms of up to 1,000 spacecraft. Both models train on the control objective itself, with no precomputed solutions. I'm also combining diffusion models with classical optimization to recover point configurations from incomplete or noisy data.
Before Purdue, I spent a year in the Ph.D. program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics from McDaniel College, where my undergraduate research was on analysis on the 2-nacci fractal, a variation of the Fibonacci word fractal. I currently serve as Vice President of Purdue's SIAM Student Chapter and as a mathematics graduate student representative.
